Revisiting an Easy Valentine’s Day Craft for Daisy and Brownie Girl Scouts

As I am updating and tweaking my blog, I am revisiting each and every post that I have written over the past three years.

I came across this timely activity for earning the green Daisy petal and celebrating Valentine’s Day.  It uses brown paper bags, newspaper or tissue paper, paint, and hot glue guns.  It is both easy to do an cheap to make!  This is especially important for troops that are just starting out and are low on funds.

If you decide to do this craft for Valentine’s Day, you must get extra volunteers to work the hot glue guns.  Young children should never handle them.  I had three extra helpers that day!

I still have the heart my daughter made for me!
