Meeting Plans and Ideas for Scout Leaders From Daisies to Ambassadors

Do You Use Your Council’s Website?

Every Girl Scout Council has it’s own website with useful information.  There you will find all of your forms ready to download and distribute (I give parents the link when they need to fill out forms-I do not copy and distribute them).  You will also find the local calendar of training and Council events.

If you are a brand new Daisy leader, I would strongly suggest getting into the habit of looking at your Council’s website at least once a week.  This is especially true if your Service Unit contact member is not one who sends out frequent emails about such things.

Don’t overlook the websites of other Council’s, because some of my best ideas have been found on these sites!

I am researching all of the Bronze Award requirements on my Councils site, as we will be starting it this week.

Do you use your Council’s website?  Why or why not?
