The Girl Scout Silver Award is one that girls earn during their years as a Cadette. They first need to complete one of the Cadette Journeys, and then they need to find a project on which to work. I do not understand your comment. No single project can benefit everyone in the community; it focuses on one issue issue to tackle. Girls focus on a problem and attempt to solve it with their award project.

This is correct. You cannot solve an issue to benefit ALL people. The project is to attempt to solve one particular problem in the community.

It is a great way to introduce them to small group community service.
