The Girl Scout Silver Award is one that girls earn during their years as a Cadette. They first need to complete one of the Cadette Journeys, and then they need to find a project on which to work. Girls can work alone or in groups of up to five. The complete guide and steps for completion can be found here at the Girl Scouts of the USA website.

  • while us girl scout appreciate your efforts to make a list, the silver project has to be something that benefits to all people and not just some. Thank you.

    • I do not understand your comment. No single project can benefit everyone in the community; it focuses on one issue issue to tackle. Girls focus on a problem and attempt to solve it with their award project.

Accordng the the GSUSA, these are the Girl Scout Silver Award Steps

Identify an issue you care about.

Build your Girl Scout Silver Award team or decide to go solo.

      Explore your community.

      Pick your Silver Award project.

      Develop your project.

Make a plan and put it into motion.

Reflect, share your story, and celebrate.

Nowhere does it state that it needs to help everyone.

      • This is correct. You cannot solve an issue to benefit ALL people. The project is to attempt to solve one particular problem in the community.
