Friday Freebie Digital Girl Scout Would You Rather Game

With so many troops meeting virtually, this free digital Girl Scout Would You Rather game is a fun way to start or end a meeting.

One of my first grade students’ favorite games to play is “Would You Rather”. If you have not heard of it, children are given a choice of two options and have to choose one. Then they can explain why they selected the one that they did or explain why they did not choose the other.

I am fortunate that another Religious School teacher created a free digital Would You Rather game to share with all of us in the Facebook group in which we belong. This inspired me to create my own free digital Girl Scout Would You Rather game to share with all of you.

What Makes This Free Digital Girl Scout Would You Rather Game Different From Others?

You can do an online search for “Would You Rather” questions for kids and find tons of them. In fact, they are a good idea to have in your leader bag while waiting for a meeting to start (this is called a sponge activity), or if you are meeting in person and end sooner than you planned, you can ask a few “Would You Rather” questions before pick up time.

The game I created is different because every question has to do with being a Girl Scout. For example, the first question in the list is, Would you rather eat Thin MInts or S’mores? Each slide has a picture representing the two different choices.

Leaders, do not be afraid of screen sharing! Just download the free digital Girl Scout Would You Rather game and practice before your meeting. If you have an older child in your house, this is second nature to them. My teen assistants in Sunday School are always helping me out with the technology.
