Make Pom Poms for Hats

With cookie season around the corner, the girls can have add a touch of warmth to their uniform. You can purchase beanie hats at a dollar store or big box store and then teach them how to make pompoms for decor.

Buy yarn that will stand out…bright colors, a rainbow twist…be creative!

You do not need a fancy store bought pompom maker. Use resources wisely and use this easy DIY tutorial from The Craft Train using cardboard. Older girls can make it themselves.

Play Winter Pictionary

Pictionary is a fun and easy game to play. This winter word list from Enchanted Learning will make it easy for you to think of words for the girls to draw.

Play the Left Right Game

The girls need to bring in a wrapped gift from the Dollar Store (buy a few extra just in case someone forgets).

You will read a Left-Right story and the girls will pass the gifts left or right, depending on what the story says. You can find a Frosty the Snowman version here.

Make a Picture Frame

During the meeting prior to this one, take a troop photo. Then have the girls do this craft and insert the picture. This comes in a package of 30.
